Uwaga żmija zygzakowata !
Na terenie miasta pojawiły się żmije zygzakowate. Ci nieproszeni goście pojawili się na Borach, w okolicach basenu przy ul. Granicznej i przy ul. Parkowej. W miejscach tych Urząd Miasta wywiesił tablice informujące o zagrożeniach. Także w tych miejscach, jeżeli było koszone pobocze, trawy nie będą zbierane. Żmije te są pd ochroną i oprócz ostrzeżeń nie można zastosować żadnych radykalnych środków.
Jad żmij zygzakowatych jest mieszaniną kilku toksyn o różnorakim działaniu- uszkadzającym układ nerwowy, powodujący martwicę tkanek, powodującym zmniejszenie krzepliwości krwi, zmiany rytmu pracy serca. Po ukąszeniu na skórze poszkodowanego pozostają dwie charakterystyczne ranki. Ukąszenie jest szczególnie niebezpieczne dla dzieci i osób starszych.
